Big Sur – McWay Falls

McWay Falls, a stunning waterfall that cascades from a cliff located along the coast of Big Sur. At higher tide, the falls can make contact with the waves. At low tide, the falls flow onto the shores of McWay Beach. There was a time these falls flowed directly into the ocean however in 1983, a landslide occurred and caused sand and debris to wash up into the cove forming the beach.
